A long time ago, we did not have a UPS and we learnt the hard way! The software we run our company with had corrupted. Unbeknown to us, we had been taking corrupted back-ups for two weeks. We were left with no option but to delete 2 weeks' worth of business. As far as purchase orders, sales orders and invoicing was concerned this was merely a data entry bore and took about a day of hard graft. Bookkeeping, however, was a different matter.
